Shaitaan (transl. Devil) is a 2024 Indian Hindi-language supernatural horror thriller film directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Devgn Films, Jio Studios, and Panorama Studios.[5] It stars Ajay Devgn, R. Madhavan, Jyothika, Janki Bodiwala, and Anngad Raaj.[6][7]
Shaitaan was theatrically released on 8 March 2024, coinciding with Maha Shivaratri, to positive reviews from critics.[10][11] Grossing ₹211.06 crore worldwide on an estimated budget of ₹60–65 crore, the film ranks as the sixth highest grossing Indian film of 2024, the third top-grossing Hindi film of 2024 and the second highest-grossing Indian horror film ever.[4][12][6] A sequel is in the scripting stage.[13]
